Of mice and men
Well of mice and small children.
I have a Microsoft wireless mouse. I have a not quite two year old boy called Sam. I have a toilet. The three have interacted in a perhaps predictable manner. Suggestions for a suitable replacement mouse (must work with Linux) are welcomed.

Can't suggest a brand, but my son was two when he discovered how to undo the 'circle catch' for cleaning the mouse ball area....
So I'd definately recommend you go with an optical mouse.

Most of the Logitech-compatible infrared USB mice are recognized by the Suse drivers in my laptop.
A free hint, from an older parent: make sure all access to VCR slots or DVD slots at home are out of reach of the little one. Warranties on these devices do NOT cover things like Vegemite toast or peanut buttered crackers inserted in the openings.
